PHYSICIAN OFFICE/CLINICAL RN
JOB DESCRIPTION

- The Physician Office/Clinical RN assists the physician in assessing the needs of patients based on data collected through history, observation, physical exam, telephone triage and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Performs direct patient care, i.e. triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, patient education, discharge and follow-up instructions. Assists with hospital rounds; assists with dictating Discharge Summaries, H & P, Consults and OP Reports; performs other duties necessary in providing high quality patient care; serves as an integral part of the overall clinical team for physician office; possesses skills and abilities required in a multifaceted environment in addition to those relating to nursing.
WORK SCHEDULE
80 hours biweekly as scheduled
SKILLS REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED equivalent and a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Must meet all the applicable state requirements governing the qualifications for a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of South Carolina. Must have and maintain ACLS and BLS certifications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Prefer at least one year experience in physician's office or other clinical setting.
