Registered Nurse - Surgery - $2,556.00 WEEKLY

PSC Healthcare is currently seeking an RN to fill a travel RN role within Victorville, California.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery, including verifying their identity, surgical site, and consent.
• Assist with pre-operative assessments, including patient history, vital signs, and medication administration.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a sterile environment and proper surgical instrumentation.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing instruments as required.
• Monitor and assess patients post-operatively, managing pain and complications as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety.

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California

- BLS certification & ACLS Certification

-Must live 50 miles away from hospital to qualify for Travel stipend

-Previous experience (1-2 years) of ICU experience.
