******Job Description:

** The X-ray Technologist arranges patients for radiological examinations to provide personal care and diagnostic services in the home. Produces quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Conducts radiographs in multiple views based on department requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or any related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mobile technician
• Radiologic Technologist License
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration and maintaining required Continuing Medical Education (CME)
• Active driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Performs daily inspection of assigned vehicles, x-ray machine and other medical equipment
• Remains in contact with dispatch when work is completed for further assignments
• Prepare images for reading by radiologist
• Completes all department required documentation to include but not limited to daily log sheets and monthly cleaning logs to ensure company and government standards are met
• Processes images and reviews for proper identification and pertinent clinical history to ensure quality control
• Maintains and cleans all equipment. Maintains proper sanitation of equipment after each patient contact
• Ability to travel (Comfortable operating Vehicle and travelling up to 40 miles)

Salary:

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
