The Area Manager duties and responsibilities include:
Handling facility maintenance service calls for our clients when needed. Managing and supervising the day to day operations of client janitorial accounts. Visiting clients and employees at job sites ensuring service delivery. Hiring, training and directing employees, ensuring compliance with work requirements. Helping employees in completing tasks when needed. Having flexibility in work hours, to supervise shifts and get work done. Having On-Call responsibilities for emergencies. Handling and assisting in projects as necessary. Maintaining the pulse of the operation for the owners.. Maintaining company equipment, tools and warehouse. Essential Skills: Previous supervisory or management experience. Handyman/General Maintenance and Repairs experience. People skills, time management, organizational and leadership skills. Good problem solving ability, able to work in dynamic, fast paced environment. Good multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication skills. Identify issues and challenges and provide good solutions. Able to work with no physical limitations. Be 25 or over and able to legally work in the US. Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Be able to pass a background and drug screen. Be able to use computer and smartphone for basic work and e-mail. Ability to manage a flexible work schedule. Able to occasionally travel to Tampa and Orlando in company vehicle to meet clients and supervise operations.
