    Up Closets of Collin County, a leading provider of custom closet solutions, is seeking a closet installer assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about creating functional and beautiful spaces that meet each client's unique needs.

    Compensation & Equipment Support:

    $15-$20 per hour

    Project onboarding support provided

    Training sessions available to support work quality

    Paid per hour/project as a 1099 contractor or W2 employee

    Flexible scheduling per project. Hours determined by project scope and timing

    Tools, uniforms, vehicle, and equipment provided for project completion

    Availability: Project-based with growing availability

    Job Requirements:

    Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

    Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

    Maintain a safe and organized work environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist lead installer with loading, unloading and organizing materials

    Help transport tools and supplies to and from the job site

    Support installing custom closet systems in clients' homes or businesses according to design specifications

    Collaborate with lead installer to ensure timely completion of projects

    Follow company policies and procedures related to installation and customer service

    Learn and develop installation and measurement skills over time

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Carpentry, cabinetry, or technical/vocational training preferred

    Experience assembling or installing furniture preferred

    Background in custom, trim, or cabinet carpentry is a plus
