Job Description

The Sales Intern will spend 10-15 hours a week working on-site with PT Genie to gain valuable experience in healthcare technology sales. This person will develop a book of qualified orthopedic leads by contacting orthopedic practices via email and phone, informing the practice on PT Genie, and setting up appointments for the PT Genie team. The goal is for this role to evolve into a full-time, Junior Sales Representative position upon graduation. Additional responsible may include:  

• Develop an exceptional understanding of PT Genie, orthopedics, physical therapy, and sales strategies
• Assist in the creation of a pitch to be used during your calls and presentations
• Develop client relationships with orthopedic practice managers, physicians, etc through call and email
• Create a list of qualified leads for PT Genie’s CEO and CFO to review and build upon
• Set up and plan sales meetings for the executive team
• Maintain knowledge on emerging products and services
• Observe executive team’s pitch to get a deep understanding of the sales process
• Assist in selecting tools to be utilized by a sales team

Qualifications

This part-time sales internship is ideal for a student looking to do gain valuable sales experience in a professional environment. We are looking for a driven, passionate, degree seeking student who is looking to bring their educational experiences into real life experience with PT Genie. Additional qualifications are:

• Actively enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales or relevant field, 3.5 minimum GPA preferred
• Strong understanding of sales techniques
• Strong organizational skills
• Results oriented
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with MS Office products, specially Excel
