Job Summary

Ellis Home & Garden in Beaumont is now accepting applications for a Part Time Greenhouse Associate position. This position will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Greenhouse Associate position will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.

Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED required

Some college preferred

Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)

Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically

Computer proficiency required

Retail point of sale experience preferred

Plant knowledge preferred, but not required (we will train you!)

Must be available Nights & Weekends

Must be 18 years of age

Pay starting at $12 per hour
