We are seeking to add a skilled High School Mathematics Teacher to our team of passionate and caring Christian educators who will help us enhance the intellectual, spiritual and social development of our children. Your duties will include planning, implementing and assessing lessons, designing a teaching plan and using activities and instructional methods to motivate and engage 8 -10th Grade Mathematics students.
You should be a qualified professional with great attention to children's needs, passion for impacting the lives of children, and ability to teach children with patience and creativity.
Teach high school math courses, which may include Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or AP-level mathematics.
Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that promote deep conceptual understanding and real-world application.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
Maintain high academic expectations while providing support to ensure all students grow and achieve.
Integrate a biblical worldview into math instruction, helping students see the order and logic of God's creation.
Assess, track, and communicate student progress regularly through assignments, grades, and feedback.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative school culture.
Participate in professional development, department planning, and school events.
Uphold and model Christian character, professionalism, and the school's mission.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Valid teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
Minimum of 2 years of successful secondary teaching experience preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and passion for helping students excel in mathematics.
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
Alignment with the Christian faith, values, and mission.
