Job Description: We are currently seeking a PT Perioperative RN to join our dynamic team.

As a Perioperative RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Working closely with our experienced surgical team, you will contribute to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience; perioperative experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
