Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our healthcare team in Phoenixville, United States. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide quality care and support to patients during their rehabilitation journey.

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing prescribed treatment plans
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Help patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records
• Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and treatment areas
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Transport patients to and from therapy sessions when needed
• Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipment
• Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care
• Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Physical Therapy Aide certification preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1+ years of experience in physical therapy or healthcare setting preferred
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy equipment and modalities
• Understanding of basic anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercises
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
