We're currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our tight-knit team. Your Role:
As a veterinary technician on our team, you'll assist veterinarians in delivering top-notch care and ensure the comfort and well-being of every patient. Expect a dynamic workday with a great mix of hands-on patient care, client interaction, and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Support veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Perform lab work (blood draws, urinalysis, fecal exams)
Administer medications and vaccines
Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures
Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
Educate clients on preventive care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organized
Qualifications:
Current California RVT license preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
Experience as a veterinary technician or technician assistant
Solid understanding of veterinary procedures and terminology
Compassionate, client-focused, and an excellent communicator
Reliable team player with strong time management and multitasking skills
