Job Description
SUMMARY
The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, and debug of software used in PTS analyzers and proprietary manufacturing software. With regard to this position, the Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements of the Quality System documentation as required for design control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and meet or exceed the experience requirements listed below.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
2-3 years of experience in real-time embedded software preferred
Experience building applications in Microsoft Visual Studio in C# and Visual Basic
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) use and application
Proficient in the use of software development tools (compilers, emulators, debuggers, and chip programmers)
Medical device industry experience preferred
Or, equivalent combination of education and experience
