This position will be responsible for driving awareness and sales for multiple transmission families across the automotive industry.

    The business development manager's duties include identifying business opportunities, developing effective models and strategies to improve business performance, searching for potential clients to generate income and attract B2B partnerships. The business development manager must have or quickly develop extensive knowledge of the (automotive) market trends and adjust strategies as needed to meet the needs of the business. Excellent communication, decision-making, critical thinking, and leadership skills are just some of the key factors that business development manager should possess to communicate and negotiate with the clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    · Monitor, feed KPI's and formulate plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.

    · Develop and train associate sales rep to identify new market opportunities which lead to increase in overall sales

    · Monitor performance and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.

    · Analyze CRM data such as SalesForce to track performance and implement new customer relationships.

    · Work directly with the department manager to implement and integrate sales CRM into operational procedure.

    · Develop quarterly and annual business plans for territory evaluating overall performance expectations and defining strategies for future growth.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Ideal candidates will have between 2-4 years of sales experience.

    · Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.

    · Proven ability to sell at multiple levels within an organization.

    · Experience in developing regional marketing and sales strategies

    · Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.

    · A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is required.
