The Computer Operator assists the customer by operating TADSS workstations and providing familiarization training, primarily in Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT/NCM3) sets and Digital Range Training System (DRTS) ranges.

Job Duties include:

• The AVCATT employee operates workstations including After Action Review (AAR), Semi-Automated Forces (SAF), and other control consoles.
• DRTS employees operate range targetry and instrumentation.
• Employees conduct PMCS of equipment and assist technicians with repairs.
• AVCATT employees travel to Army locations to support training.
• In response to computer output instructions or error conditions, this worker applies standard operating or corrective procedure, refers problems that do not respond to preplanned procedure, and may serve as an assistant operator, working under general supervision.

Some of these positions may require travel.  Travel may be to nearby installations and other ATMP locations CONUS and OCONUS.

Required Skills

• Must be a Subject Matter Expert on TADSS operation.
• 2 - 4 year's past experience as a Computer Operator or related position.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges. 
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to successfully complete the US Forces Korea (USFK) Invited Contractor process per USFK Regulation 700-19.
