    Job Overview Our plant in New Mexico is state of the art and we are preparing for a major expansion. We are seeking PVC compound machine operators who would be responsible for for preparing, mixing, and processing raw materials to produce PVC compounds and ensuring consistent, high-quality output in a safe manufacturing environment.

    Duties

    Set up and operate mixing and compounding machines for PVC materials according to production schedules

    Measure, weigh, and load raw materials (PVC resins, stabilizers, fillers, and colorants) per formulations or batch sheets.

    Regulate machine parameters such as temperature, speed, and pressure using console controls

    Monitor equipment performance, adjust settings for consistent output, and troubleshoot when irregularities occur.

    Inspect materials for uniformity, color, and texture, ensuring conformity with product specifications

    Record production data including batch numbers, quantities, time cycles, and quality results.

    Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

    Skills

    PVC material knowledge and extrusion principles

    Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance understanding

    Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards

    Strong teamwork and communication abilities

    Physical & Work Requirements

    Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

    Comfortable working in a factory environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.

    Willingness to work shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
