    This position is 100% commission. We are looking for experienced (or working on their license) motivated go-getters to be Mortgage Loan Originators.

    COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $150,000+ Commission Only

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Have knowledge of the Loan Origination and Closing process (or be working on your license)
    • Follow your Mentor's guidance to prospect for new leads to promote new business 
    • Provide world-class customer service to clients to ensure their satisfaction and trust and increase sales volume
    • Fill out an application with a borrower directly into Calyx point over the phone
    • Pull credit and analyze the client's situation
    • Calculate debt-to-income ratios and loan-to-value ratios
    • Evaluate a loan for placement according to credit scores, DTI’s, cash to close, contract requirements
    • Generate a fee worksheet and explain to the customer
    • Request borrower/realtor related documents required by the lender during pre-approval and while in contract
    • Properly separate out label/review borrower income/asset/credit documentation
    • Importing online applications from Blink into Calyx Point
    • Submit a completed file to processing
    • Work with the client to satisfy the needed conditions
    • Track milestone progress during the escrow process

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Have a valid Mortgage Loan Originator license (CA or TX) or be working toward it (we will help you prepare and take the test)!
    • Marketing experience - cold calling, social media, content. If not we will train you in all of these!
    • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
    • Technology-driven and adept at learning new software and processes
    • Top-notch time management skills and highly organized
    • Self-motivation and drive to succeed
    • Discipline to manage your workday and business effectively
    • This position is 100% commission based
