Required skills and experience:

? Education: Position requires an accredited master’s degree in psychology, nursing, social work or health/counseling field along with an unencumbered clinical/nursing license from the state of residence duly authorized Board.

? Five plus years of post-licensing clinical experience, prior experience in psychiatric crisis management and familiarity with third party payment/verification. Supervisory experience is a complimentary aspect of this position.

? Timely renew and maintains cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the healthcare professional certification, annual professional skills verification and CPI (psychiatric crisis management) certification.

What you need to know:

•The Director, Admissions supports the purpose and procedure of the entire admission process.

•Creates and maintains department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals phone log, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patients needs.

•Manages the daily department functions of Assessment & Referral, as well as, collaborating with in-house clinical/nursing, utilization review and marketing/business development departments.

•Ensures accurate information of daily census and potential admission information.

•Monitor and evaluates intake/admission information and verifies accuracy of insurance or other payment information.
