Required skills and experience:
*Bachelor of Science degree in a mechanical engineering, electrical
engineering or relevant technical field
*Demonstrated ability and experience in an automation machine control role
in manufacturing environment
*Experience with Information Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT)
system integrations
*Ability with software testing and validation
*Ability to travel 40%
*Capable of presenting optimally at various business levels and functions
*Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

*Leads the implementation and configuration of operations
I4.0/IT/digitalization solutions including our OT network integration.
*Specify, review, run-off, install capital equipment
*Provide project management, process introduction, process improvement
leadership
*Define and act on quality enhancements, service improvement and cost
saving opportunities
*Develop automation solutions to optimize plant performance for process
and material flow
*Maintain and build adequate manufacturing capacity utilizing the most
effective technology, development, and understanding of key partners
*Develop supplier base to meet the changing needs of manufacturing and
distribution network
In this role you will be responsible for identifying & implementing new technologies, in support of the Industry 4.0 roadmap, across the manufacturing and distribution network to improve safety, quality, service and cost metrics.
The Automation Engineer will develop and implement “smart manufacturing” solutions to develop new capabilities within our service operations organization. This role is a technical resource for training and standards for our automation and I4.0 platforms
