    Position Overview:

    Rep will be assigned various architects, designers, and those firms that are directly involved with the specification of commercial construction finishes. Specifically, Rep will be assigned accounts per territory with the objective of creating pull-thru marketing for T&M products. Rep’s support will not be limited only to these Customers; but additionally new Customers that the Sales Rep feels can increase specifications (& thus sales) of T&M’s outlined geographical territory and related divisions.

    Schedule:

    Active participation in Tour D’Force (sales reporting system) so far as a general idea of travel schedule, entered one month in advance. This may begin as a weekly schedule with 1 day per week in a different area until there is a face-to-face introduction to every Customer. Depending on the Customer and Rep’s demand, sales call rotation may change as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Return Customer calls promptly.
    • Professional dress and presentation.
    • An average of 4-6 sales calls per day (when on the road).
    • Visit each A&D, specification driven account customer as qualified. If necessary, modify a sales call frequency to reflect better or new opportunities in the Sales Rep’s territory.
    • “Cold calling” A&D related customers as needed by Sales Rep. These calls can be made the day rep is in that area next.
    • Weekly updates in Tour D’Force to update activities of the Sales Calls as well as challenges or opportunities with the Customers.
    • Regular communication with “nearby Sales Reps” (i.e. outside related sales reps/team) to review strategies for the Customers and discuss with National/Regional Sales Manager.
    • At least bi-monthly box lunch seminars to include promotion of T&M’s terrazzo, natural stone & quartz AIA approved Power Point seminars.
    • Regular & frequent library updates of T&M product offering & related materials.
    • Membership & regular attendance in local trade associations (i.e. monthly meeting of the local chapters of IIDA, ASID, CSI, &/or AIA, etc.).
    • Expense reports completed on a weekly (or at most bi-monthly) basis.
