    Job Description:

    Opening a brand new hospital and is looking for MS RNs.

    Looking for inpatient experience, at least 1 year (as long as it's not virtual or telehealth)

    Days: 4/5:1

    Nights: 4/5:1

    *Acuity: CMI= 2.596

    *Average length of State: 7.42

     

     

    *Types of Patients:

    Ortho Trauma provides care for orthopedic, spine surgery and plastic surgery patients. Our patient population includes an adult and geriatric population. Nursing is caring. It’s taking the extra step to make sure a patient is comfortable. It’s using technology to streamline patient care and increase patient safety without seeming detached. It’s making a difference in someone’s life through a gentle word or action. Our nurses are an integral part of our interdisciplinary care teams and coordinate with other team members to ensure patient needs are met in a compassionate and timely manner. They work side-by-side with our physicians and other specialists in a professional and rewarding environment designed to provide the highest level of patient care possible.

     

    Sign-on: $10,000 - requirement is that they have one year of nursing experience in an inpatient setting. The bonus is paid out in two installments - $6k after 6 months of employment and $4k after 18 months of employment. Nurses are not required to sign a contract to receive the bonus. The bonus is taxed as income.

     

    Relocation assistance offered: $5,000 (if 70 miles or farther)

     

    **nurses can start immediately based on orientation availability. Orientation is twice per month. If the nurses started sooner than September they would start at the current hospital and transfer over to the new facility at the designated time. The new facility is to start seeing patients on September 1st

     

    Required Qualifications:

    - At least 1 year of inpatient experience

    - Missouri RN license

    - MS RN

    Schedule:

    - Night Shift: Full time

    - Hours Between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

    - No minimum hours required if clock in after 10:45 p.m

    - 5 hour minimum if clock in before 10:45 p.m (2nd shift will continue during this time)
