8-WEEK ASSIGNMENT: MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 2 years recent ICU / progressive care experience in moderate to large-sized facilities. 3 / 4 Specialty units within the Saint Francis Heart Hospital serve the cardiovascular needs of a variety of patients in various levels of critical/progressive/telemetry cardiovascular care, without having to be transferred to other departments. You will provide patient care for patients in the critical/progressive stage to include: cardiogenic shock, STEMI, TAVR, Mitral Clip, post-cardiac intervention, peripheral intervention, EKOS therapy, post MI; CHF, rhythm disturbances, non-STEMI patients, and PVD. RNs are responsible for their own IVs, phlebotomy and ABGs.Units are dynamic and fast-paced with good dynamics with medical staff.Feedback from staff includes great teamwork .May float to other ICU settings in the facility.EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred. BLS ACLS (AHA) and previous hemodynamic monitoring experience REQUIRED.
