As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:

•Incorporate innovative and sustainable design methods in buildings (LEED, WELL, Net-Zero)
•Understanding of passive design systems that influence mechanical requirements
•Design mechanical systems including: heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and water distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls
•Assist in the procurement of work; manage multi-disciplinary project teams including client relations and team motivation
•Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them
•Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects
•Manage a small project, work area or technical skill set, monitor quality of work, and is involved in client liaison

Requirements:

•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering with a sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
•6+ years of experience
•PE preferred (Arup will assist with the costs associated of obtaining a PE)
•Project management and supervisor experience
•Business development interest/capabilities, commercial/financial awareness
•LEED AP with a specialty preferred
