    Job Description

    ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

    The Associate Producer is responsible for helping the LA post-production team create cutting-edge and powerful video content for all media platforms. Projects range from small tasks requiring immediate turnaround to large-scale support on complex work.

    This person must be able to work with all levels of employees and will be provided exposure to many different aspects of post-production within the PXP network and within the Publicis Groupe.

    This person will partner closely with the Executive Producer and other PXP Producers in Los Angeles and throughout the North & South America network to handle day to handle new business opportunities for studios, document preparation, project assistance and internal communication with team members.

    Day to Day:

    • Produces day to day jobs for a handful of repeat clients.
    • Assist with production support, research, organization, and reporting.
    • Overseeing the editorial, 2D animation, color and finish for several clients
    • Aid in the development and organization of support materials for the production team and client meetings.
    • Manages daily requests within Production Departments.
    • Interacts with other departments to ensure both agency & client needs are met.
    • Assists in scheduling freelancers for overflow work.
    • Fosters relationships with other Pub offices in the North and South American network + outside vendors.
    • Works with internal team & outside vendors to produce broadcast, content and digital projects
    • Oversees delivery of final assets to trafficking partners.
    • Partner with tech lead to maintain Digital Asset Management systems and media libraries.
    • Provide administrative support to production studios, including client/vendor POs, department expenses, job number creation, technology, finance and Resources liaison, and ability to create department estimates and invoices.

    Experience:

    Entry Level. This position requires 6 months – 1-year internship experience. 1-2 years office experience at a leading Post Facility. Similar experience at an Ad Agency or TV Network would also be acceptable. Must be willing to take on multiple tasks and work with/for multiple people. Must have strong communication (written and verbal) skills.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in film or related field or equivalent training.

    Skills and Abilities:

    This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Strong character presence with self-confidence, self-starter, great organizational skills; pays attention to detail, excellent project management, able to multi-task efficiently, “willing” attitude; takes initiative; and eager to learn. Has knowledge of Word, Excel, Keynote, the Adobe Suite.

    Working Conditions: This position is based in Los Angeles, California. PXP Studios is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. All employees are expected to support The Pub’s commitment to providing a respectful and safe workplace. There may be times when lifting up to 25 lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/or weekend work, may be required. There may be occasion to travel. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and acceptable manner during working hours and at all work-related events, including but not limited to, holiday parties, off-sites, client meetings/events, shoot locations, etc.

    Compensation Range: $51,000- $75,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
