    Job Description

    SUMMARY: 

    Responsible for the oversight of the product life cycle of a test, process, or technology; ensures company targets are met operationally and commercially. Oversight includes distribution of technology across Pace Analytical as well as full responsibility for profit and loss expectations. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

    This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills. 

    1. Manages staff including hiring, training, development and engagement of self and team members, evaluating  performance, providing compensation recommendations, and performance management. 

    1. Provides functional and operational leadership and oversight for development, delivery, support, and maintenance of the assigned product line capabilities in a regulated environment. 

    2. Leads the discussion for new product development with senior leadership to include operations, marketing, sales, and legal/compliance. 

    3. Serves as the liaison between technical development teams and business audiences to ensure understanding and alignment of technical and business requirements. 

    4. Acts as the point of contact (SME) for the product line and works closely to assess and anticipate current and future product line requirements.  

    5. Manages vendor contractors on a project basis to ensure Statements of Work are met. 

    6. Advocates continuous internal process improvement including identification of opportunities, adoption of best practices and standards, and drives necessary changes with the team. 

    7. Coordinates technology solution implementation work with internal and external resource

     

    9. Produces various reports related to the product line.  

    1. Coordinates with Compliance on product development documents, which define and clarify procedures for all parties involved. 

    2. Identifies key trade shows and other external opportunities to highlight product leadership opportunities  

    3. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.  

    4. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytics by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The  requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

    Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, operations, or a closely related field; AND five (5) years of experience within the specialty analytical service, including experience with complex  programs or managing operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 

    Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: 

    Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.  

    • Valid Driver’s License
