    Reports to: Die Cast Supervisor

    Location: Dover, NH

    Summary:

    The Die Cast Operator is generally required to operate a die cast machine in strict compliance with approved processes. They are responsible for visual inspection of die cast parts for quality. Die Cast operators are responsible for keeping the machine running, and to perform required secondary operations. Secondary operations are, but not limited to, trimming, sanding / filing, drilling, and shot blasting. It is the Die Cast Operators responsibility to keep their workstation neat and orderly. Die casting is an entry level position. On-the-job training is provided.

    Training will occur on a first shift schedule.

    Job Functions:

    • Learn theoperation of the die cast machines.

    • Observe continuous operation of automatic die cast machines to ensure that products meet specifications and that the machine achieves maximum uptime.

    • Visually inspect products for surface and obvious dimensional defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications.

    • Trim excess material from parts.

    • Place product into appropriate container.

    • Accurately record production transactions and work time.

    • Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries.

    Required Experience:

    • High School Diploma desired, but not required.

    Physical Demands:

    • Training is provided.

    • Occasionally lifts or moves part weighing up to 30 lbs.

    • Must be able to Ascend/Descend, work atop ladders and equipment.

    • Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.

    Salary info:

    $18 - $20 / hr
