    Job Description

    PAFCO is a $700MM+ global seafood manufacturing company with 45+ years of success. Our business is built on trust which has allowed for both our company, and our customers, to succeed together. We are looking for a Payroll/ HR Administrator to help our growing team! The Payroll/ HR Administrator will oversee the daily administration of human resources & payroll activities. Responsibilities * Reviews timecards and collects missing payroll forms * Keeps track of pay periods, hourly wages, salaries, overtime, sick days and vacation days of employees * Fulfills wage garnishment requirements; adjusting payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings * Updates records by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, insurance changes, deductions, paid-time not worked, status and pay; calculating vacation earned. * Provide customer service support to employees; Address employee questions and concerns * Launch investigations (as needed) * Assist in the recruiting process (such as onboarding) Requirements * Be a role model for Integrity, Courage and Conviction * Adapts to changing business needs * Be employee-focused and achievement-driven * Fluent Computer skills * Practical /pragmatic approach to problem solving & timely solution execution * Manage conflicting priorities within tight deadlines effectively * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Strong collaboration skills to get things done within a matrix organization * Excellent networking skill to build internal and external networks * Excellent organization skills to set priorities Experience * 3+ years experience in payroll/ human resources * Experience in budget development and management preferred * Paylocity experience preferred, but not required * Driver Payroll experience preferred, but not required Language * Bilingual in English & Spanish required Education * Bachelors' degree in Business Administration (or related field) preferred Benefits * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Life insurance * Disability insurance * Paid vacation leave * 401k with employee matching Employment Eligibility * PAFCO does not offer sponsorship for this position Company Description Located in sunny Southern California, PAFCO is a global, innovative seafood manufacturing company with over 45 years of success.
