    Pacific Blue Psychological Services is a family of licensed, certified, and highly skilled individuals with decades of experience treating mental health to the underserved population in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing facilities.

    Job Description: Applicant needs to provide clinical and counseling services to clients in assisted living and SNF facilities. The therapist will use appropriate interventions and psychotherapy modalities to assist the client in reaching their specific identified goals. The therapist collaborates with other behavioral health specialists and provides individual and group therapy to improve or assist their capacity for functioning. Counseling services often occur outside a traditional office setting. Clinicians must be comfortable and available to perform in-the-field services, be flexible with their hours, utilize creative interventions, and truly meet the client where they are at.

    Job Duties:

    1. Complete initial assessment of identified patient, assessing client’s strengths, weakness, challenges, and abilities and ensure all appropriate intake information and documentation is completed.

    2. Utilizes specific therapeutic modalities that will best suit client needs.

    3. Identify specific psychological interventions to assist client in reaching their goals.

    4. Provide individual and group counseling.

    5. Provide vocational, experiential, and family counseling/coaching as needed.

    6. Collaborate with other community resources and referral sources to coordinate services for client.

    7. Provide crisis intervention and documentation when necessary.

    8. The clinician will provide over the phone assistance to family and/or client when necessary.

    9. Maintains appropriate state license for scope of practice.

    10. Provide feedback and consultation to treatment team members regarding patient presentation and progress.

    Minimum qualifications:

    Professional license

    Previous experience with schizophrenic, persistently mentally ill, homeless and substance abuse

    Detailed knowledge of counseling and group therapy theories

    Excellent listening and communication skills

    Some experience and knowledge in working with trauma

    Job Types: Full-time or Part-time

    Salary: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

    Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
