    We are seeking a motivated and like-minded board certified Supervising Physician with clear goals of working as a full treatment team member with other medical professionals and advancing within our culture in the fast-paced and exciting field of mental health! This is an independent contractor position.

    General Duties:

    Review provider charts and provide feedback regarding medical management of patients, documentation, appropriate billing/coding issues.

    Provide supervision within local, state, national rules, regulations.

    Electronic Health Record (EHR) access and knowledge of use.

    Staying current with literature and developments in the field, and attending required training.

    Be available for messaging or phone consultations (usually Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm).

    Conduct monthly or quarterly in-person or virtual visits with Physician Assistants, as needed per state guidelines, to provide individualized feedback and teaching based on consultations and chart reviews.

    Review and sign approximately 2 charts per provider each week.

    Escalate any concerns to the Chief Medical Officer.

    Qualifications:

    Board certified in psychiatry.

    Must have an active state medical license in the state of CA.

    5-10 years' of experience as a supervising physician.

    Demonstrated excellent written/verbal communication skills.

    Excellent clinical teaching and attention to detail.

    Commitment to lifelong learning of evidence-based medicine.

    Must meet criteria to credential with major insurance payers including Medi-Cal.
