    The Petroleum Pipefitter is responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems and fixtures for high-pressure water, gas, and steam flow by performing the following duties.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Two Years of successful experience in equipment operating working with grades and reading blueprints.
    •  Must have experience working with underground fuel piping for gas stations.
    •  ICC certification to handle, install and test both underground and above ground piping preferred.
    •  High school diploma or GED
    •  Supervisory experience.
    •  Must possess a valid Driver's license/CDL.
    •  Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
    •  Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    •  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
    •  Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for accuracy.
    •  Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    •  Cuts, threads, and tapers pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
    •  Assembles and secures pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, gluing, soldering, and threading joints.
    •  Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
    •  Lays out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
    •  Follows company safety guidelines and uses appropriate protective equipment.
    •  Other duties as assigned.
