Pacific Pharmaceuticals USA is seeking a Financial Controller who will help us achieve our vision 2020
The primary objective of the role is to ensure all entities are compliant from a statutory and reporting perspective within the specified deadlines, can add value to the business from a controller-ship perspective and sustain strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Stakeholders, Finance and other parts of the Regional and Global business.
You will be responsible for balance sheet integrity, supporting key financial processes including month end close; reporting and forecasting for capex and cash flow; statutory financial reporting and managing external audit relationships. Compliance and control on processes, policies and audit to ensure internal and external governance are managed.
You will be involved in the implementation of new accounting standards and new ERP, including optimization of reporting processes. Moreover, you will participate in or be the project manager of cross-functional projects such as M&A activities in close cooperation with other finance units throughout our global organization.
We are therefore looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviors needed to interface with a range of stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
Duties and responsibilities
Qualifications
Education
o B.S. in accounting or business administration.
o Master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
o 5-10 years as Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment,
o High level of proficiency in PC spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems.
o CPA or CMA preferred
· CA/ACCA/CPA qualification is preferred - Big 4 or similar practice accounting background a distinct advantage
· Solid communication skills and can work with all members of the organization and all levels of management
· Ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment and respond under ambiguous situations
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
· A continuous improvement mind-set and experience in process improvement will be an added advantage
· Structured, organized, detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Experience in financial reporting for a complete entity, accounting standards interpretation, local tax regulations and managing an external audit.
· Direct experience in building accounting and operational finance processes, systems
· Strong technical accounting systems experience
· Knowledge of project management techniques, tools, methodologies and best practices
· Advanced user in Microsoft Office
