Seeking experienced Automotive Mechanical Engineer Systems Engineer with Matlab or Simulink Modeling  for a Defense Industry Leader in production of Military  Powertrain Solutions  in Muskegon, Michigan

Responsible for the design, including requirements definition and analysis, system architecture definition and assessment, subsystem specification, design reviews, subsystem acceptance and system integration, test plans/procedures and test for military powertrain solutions.

 Allocate and derive requirements from vehicle, engine, and transmission system level down to the component level using a systems simulation model in Excel, Matlab, Simulink, or other software

Technical lead of cross-functional matrixed project team (ME, EE, Software, etc.) for engineering projects through the Systems Requirements Review to ensure engineering requirements are met.

REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

 9 years engineering experience

 7 years’ experience working as a Systems Engineer (9 years engineering experience overall)

 Expert product knowledge of transmissions, engines, and powerpack integration into tracked vehicles
