AMERIDIAN INDUSTRIES is the parent company of two operating entities, Pacific Torque and Orion Equipment. These two entities operate out of the same primary facility in Burien/Seatac. Pacific Torque provides service work, parts and rebuilt engines & transmissions to customers around the globe. Orion Equipment is a dealer for several heavy equipment manufactures specializing in ground work such as excavators, articulated off-road heavy haul trucks, dozers and other associated products. Orion both sells and rents this equipment in the United States.

M-F 8:00am–5:00pm

Brief Job Description and Duties

The Accountant position is a full time, salaried position that will work on accounting tasks for both Pacific Torque and Orion Equipment.

We are looking for an individual that has an accounting degree or possible significant accounting work experience. This Accountant will be responsible for general accounting tasks such:

Daily bank accounts posting, reconciliations and reporting

Account Reconciliations

HR/Personnel processing

Monthly Job Reviews, Analysis and adjusting entries as necessary

Monthly Job Recognition and Closing process

Backup support for Nightly job sweep process

Backup support for Accounts Payable

Monitor, tracking and reconciliation of ORION Equipment debt

In addition, this individual will handle or assist with various accounting tasks and provide assistance to the Company’s Senior Accountant as well as the Company Controller. This position will report to the Company’s Controller.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Accounting or an Associate degree in Accounting with significant accounting experience.

1 – 5 years of accounting experience preferred

High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as experience with Word and Outlook

Good interpersonal/communication skills

Work experience in an ERP System such as Microsoft Navision would be a plus
