    Job Description

    The SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT will act as a liaison between our finance, logistics, Customer Relations and internal IT teams and our External Partners on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NAV projects (enhancements, bug fixing, upgrades, and more). The Solutions Architect may be responsible for one or more aspects of the project including project management, business analysis, configuration, data, training, and support. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

    KEY ESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for the project
    • Write specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
    • Implement solution or schedule work to be done with partners and follows up to ensure completion within the project schedule
    • Supervise the tasks and deliverables of the project team to meet project milestones and deliverables
    • Maintain risks and issues lists
    • Conduct at least a weekly status meeting and send weekly status updates
    • Lead and manage multiple projects
    • Lead and facilitate the design and architecture sessions with internal teams
    • Mentor other IT members in terms of PM, BA and/or technical skills
    • Help internal teams define processes when there are no processes in place
    • Advise internal teams on best practices for CRM processes, user interface, and architecture
    • Impart training to super users and end users, as needed
    • Contribute as needed to the planning and execution of various business campaigns with regards to the operations and technology tools

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in business organization centered around core Microsoft Dynamics environments
    • Ability to code and carry out Dynamics 365 development programming related to SQL Integration Services and/or Scribe Online and SQL Reporting Services.
    • Experience supporting a small-medium sized user community preferred
    • Natural problem-solving skills focused on finding quality resolutions for both the present and the future
    • Excellent communication skills capable of dealing with employees from every department and level of the organization
    • Service-oriented personality, positive attitude, passion for technology
    • Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to the operation of a sales, marketing, logistics and customer service departments within an organization
    • Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and process design software.
    • Must possess good follow up and follow through skills
    • Must be a team player, willing to pitch in where needed
    • Ability to handle high pressure situations with grace and remain calm while managing multiple projects or last minute requests
    • Must have good driving record and be able to drive as needed to the various sites
