    Office Support Clerk-Part-Time

    San Diego Luxury Home and Apartment Communities Development and Management Company is seeking an Office Support Clerk, Part-Time to join our corporate office team! The Office Support Clerk, Part-Time will perform various clerical and accounting duties. The role will include tasks such as updating and generating financial records, reconciling bank statements, and using accounting software programs to process transactions related to accounts payable/receivable, purchase orders, expense receipts and cash transactions.

    Additional responsibilities, but not limited to:

    Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

    Gather and organize financial data for periodic audits

    Track company credit card charges, including payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges

    Perform monthly account reconciliation and prepare related reports for management

    Track tax payments and compile information for tax filing

    Assist with other accounting projects in the office as needed

    Create and track Purchase Orders

    Invoice Processing/payments

    General ledger data entry

    Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and other company personnel

    Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

    Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

    Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

    Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

    Inform management and compile reports summaries on activity areas

    Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in AR/AP

    HS Diploma, Associates Degree and Accounting Certification highly desirable

    Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting and office procedures

    Competency in MS Office, Excel, databases and accounting software

    Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

    Accuracy and attention to detail

    Aptitude for numbers

    Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks

    Data entry and word processing skills

    Well organized

    Willingness to learn

    Adaptable

    Able to work five hours per day

    Valid Driver's License

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    Hourly/DOE $15-$18, Part Time, 20-25 Hours per week, Monday thru Friday!
