San Diego based apartment building and management company is currently seeking a dependable and multi skilled Handyman / Craftsman to join our portfolio! If you are versatile and have general knowledge about all manner of repairs and maintenance, then you are the next great addition we are looking for.Your versatility and knowledge will allow you to do the following tasks:• Carpentry• Painting• Hanging and finishing drywall• Installing floors and windows• Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues• Maintenance and new installs of MEP systems• Maintenance of interior and exterior structural components• Provide all necessary carpentry assistance and duties• Construction and repair of a variety of roofing systems• Working knowledge of underground wet/dry utilities• Installation and repairs of various masonry systems.Requirements and Qualifications• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred• Experience in construction/handyman services and/or maintenance/contractor experience• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.• Must be able to work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction• Must be both personable and professional• Must be able to observe all company procedures and safety rules• Experience in apartment communities highly favored• Current Driver's License• Must be able and willing to work one weekend day• Must be available for an on-call rotationBACKGROUNDApplicants selected for employment must successfully pass a background investigation which includes a criminal check, drug screen, reference checks, etc.
