We are currently seeking a stand-out Resident Services Coordinator to join our team in the San Diego, La Jolla area. The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Resident Services Manager and Community Manager to evaluate goals, priorities, expectations, and execution of daily resident services tasks. This position will ensure new and established residents’ experience is a positive one. The incumbent will analyze, investigate, evaluate, and resolve incoming concerns in a timely manner. The Resident Services Coordinator will respond to situations by conducting phone calls, emails, or in-person consultations. The goal of this position is to ensure the smooth operation of the Resident Services office by tracking incoming service requests, assisting in the turnover process, move-ins and move-outs, scheduling services and timely execution of management reports. Upkeeping document-file integrity according to fair housing and in-house policies is essential.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience

    Working knowledge of leasing and management policies

    Sales and/or Customer Service experience required

    Property Management software experience a plus

    Ability to set priorities, handles multiple tasks, and meets deadlines

    Strong communication skills, both oral and written

    Experience, Education, Knowledge:Highly desired 3 years of experience in apartment property management or hospitality industry. Must have knowledge and experience in customer service, automated office, client relations and Fair Housing. Able to work under regular deadlines; highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent computer skills. Experience with OneSite, RealPage property management software, and Excel is a plus; GED or equivalent required; degree preferable. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Associates will be required to climb stair wells, frequently continuously walk, or sit for up to 8 hours in any given day. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
