We are seeking and experienced, detail oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have solid background in managing accounts payable processes, strong organizational skills, and the abilibilty to work well in fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices for accuracy and proper approvals

Maintain and update vendor files and records

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Assist with month-end closing procedures

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Communicate with vendors regarding payment issues

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus

2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferred but will train the right candidate

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Experience with CDK is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
