The Assistant Service Manager will support the service manager with staff development while assisting in building and representing dealership brand. The ideal candidate is one who will help the business go to the next level of success, a forward-thinker who has the ability administer management’s processes
Assistant Service Manager - Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the service department work distribution to the technicians.
Communicate with the service advisors, service call center regarding shop capacity needs
Motivate the technicians to maximize shop production
Assist the Service Manager with Forecasting sales, gross profits, and expenses.
Observe, encourage, and inspire the team to secure customer loyalty.
Attend manager meetings and conduct weekly service dept. review meetings.
Monitor and review CSI activity with all technicians.
Work with the Parts Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for job jobs.
Manage technician productivity, work with the technicians to ensure customers vehicles are serviced properly and in a timely manner.
Interact with other dealership management.
Assistant Service Manager - Job Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience of Automotive Service shop flow
Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to manage, motivate and develop a team
Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment
Experience with CDK
Consistent and stable work history
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Professional appearance and work ethic
