Internship Job title: Package Engineer Intern

Hourly Range: $21.29-$34.59

Location: Ada, MI (Onsite)

What’s special about this team: The team creates and develops new and innovative packages for our Nutrition products. Our culture is based on strong relationships and teamwork. As the Packaging Engineer Intern, you will be part of a team of Packaging Engineers in the Nutrition Center of Excellence (COE) which is cross-functional and focused on innovation and developing products to support the Nutrilite brand and drive growth globally. The packaging team drives packaging development and sustainability efforts and collaborates globally with teams in China, India and Korea.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: Your contributions, as the Nutrition Package Engineer Intern will drive progress to achieve Amway’s sustainability goals. Your work will continue to position Amway as the leading direct selling company in the world by offering innovative product solutions that provide high value to our customers and their communities.

An example of a typical project would be: Projects may focus on improving achieving our sustainability goals through research, identification, testing to ensure performance. Projects will be focused on assisting the packaging engineer department with various development projects and includes the opportunity to work in our Packaging Sciences Laboratory designing and executing test plans.

Required skills and background:

• Desired Major: Package Engineer or Package Science
• Desired Class Year: Sophomore or Junior
• Desired Skills: Proficient with Office tools (Excel, Access etc.). Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Strong analytical and communications skills
