We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Package / Mail Screener to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for screening incoming and outgoing packages, parcels, and mail to ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and screen packages, envelopes, and deliveries using x-ray equipment, scanning tools, and manual searches when necessary

• Identify prohibited items, suspicious materials, or security risks

• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of screened items

• Follow established security and safety protocols at all times

• Coordinate with security staff, mailroom clerks, and delivery personnel

• Ensure timely handling and routing of mail and packages

• Report any irregularities or potential threats immediately

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

• Previous experience in security screening, mailroom operations, or logistics preferred (training provided)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

• Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods

• Comfortable working with screening equipment and technology

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Must pass background check and drug screening
