We are a Chula Vista company established in 2010. We are dedicated to helping pet owners find quality care for their fur babies while they go on vacation and when they work long hours.

We are seeking 3 responsible and caring individuals to join our expanding team as Pet Sitters. As a Pet Sitter, your primary role will be to ensure the well-being, comfort, and safety of the animals under your care. This is a part-time position. There's no boring desk job involved here, enjoy the breeze and lots of sunshine!

Pay: Starting at $15.50 + Tips + Paid Drive Time + Tax Free Gas Reimbursement of $.65 cents a mile

Benefits: Employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked.

Discounts on your own pet sitting. Pet CPR certification paid for by us.

Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable and compassionate care for various types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small mammals.
• Visit clients' homes to feed, water, exercise, and play with pets according to their specific needs.
• Administer medications and follow any special dietary instructions as provided by the pet owners.
• Clean and maintain pet areas, including litter boxes, cages, and backyard.
• Monitor pets for any signs of illness, distress, or unusual behavior and report concerns to the pet owners.
• Walk dogs and ensure they get proper exercise and outdoor time.
• Update pet owners with daily reports, including information on the pet's activities, behavior, and overall well-being.
• Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding home security.
• Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations with calmness, efficiency, and the well-being of the pets as the top priority.
• Maintain professionalism, trust, and confidentiality in all interactions with pet owners and their furry companions.

Requirements:

• Genuine love and passion for animals with a keen understanding of their needs and behavior.
• Previous experience in pet care, such as pet sitting, veterinary assistance, or animal shelter work, is preferred.
• Ability to handle pets of various sizes, temperaments, and species, ensuring their safety and comfort. We often walk large untrained dogs who pull.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage a flexible schedule that will include early morning, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of pet care, including walking dogs up to a mile and bending frequently to clean.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation to commute to clients' homes. We drive 30-50 miles a day. Gas reimbursement is included in pay and is tax free.
• Must pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients' pets.
• Have availability to work 15-20 hours a week.
• Must have smartphone to use our app.

We are hiring individuals for the following routes:

Route 1

Chula Vista, Bonita, Imperial Beach & San Diego off the 905 and 54 freeways. North Park, Stockton, Grant Hill, Park West, Kensington, Normal Heights, University Heights, South Park, Golden Hill & City Heights.

Route 2

Luecadia, Encinitas, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar

Route 3

Rancho Santa Fe, 4S Ranch, Carmel Valley Ranch, Rancho Bernardo

Shifts we are seeking filled:

• Any 4 days a week, from 9:00am to 3:00pm
• Any 4 days a week, morning and evening shifts: 7:30am - 10:00am AND 5:00pm - 8:00pm
• Open Weekend Availability
