    **Position Title:** Packaging Specialist (Hunter / Business Development)

    **Location:** High Point, NC (home-office based – must live in or relocate to Greater High Point / Piedmont Triad area) **Territory:** High Point metro + surrounding Piedmont Triad areas, including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Archdale, Thomasville, Kernersville, and nearby communities (will collaborate closely with one existing rep)

With a rapidly growing multi-million-dollar packaging division, a dedicated national team of packaging specialists, and recent strategic acquisitions (with more in the pipeline), they are in aggressive growth mode.

     

    **The Role – What You’ll Actually Do**

    This is a true hunter position focused on new logo acquisition and aggressive wallet-share growth inside existing accounts. You will:

     

    \- Prospect daily into manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, furniture/home furnishings, and food/beverage plants throughout the Greater High Point / Piedmont Triad area to include Winston-Salem and Greensboro.

    \- Own the full sales cycle: cold outreach → needs analysis → site surveys → custom ROI-driven proposals → close → long-term account penetration

    \- Partner with top-tier vendor reps on joint calls and national-account strategies

    \- Deliver measurable TCO reduction for customers through equipment, consumables, service, and VMI programs

    \- Live in the field – face-to-face selling is the expectation (daily local travel + occasional overnight)

     

    **Success Looks Like**

    Year 1 goal: achieve 100%+ of forecast (realistic six-figure earnings at plan). Top performers regularly hit 150–200% of quota and earn well into the mid-to-high six figures.

    **Compensation & Ramp Support**

    \- Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)

    \- Uncapped monthly commission + performance bonus paid on % of forecast achieved (plan attached to active candidates upon request)

    \- Comfort selling both consumables and $50K–$500K+ equipment projects

    \- Professional presence – you’re proud to open a trunk full of samples and look sharp doing it

    \- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

    \- Clean driving record and willingness to be on the road daily
