Packaging Technician – Organic Food Manufacturing (Full-Time)

Ogden, UT | $21/hr. to start | Evening Shift 2:00 PM-10:30PM | Monday–Friday + Optional OT

At The Coconut Cult , we do things differently. Every jar of our cult-favorite, probiotic coconut yogurt is produced, filled, and packed by people — not machines.

We use raw, organic, ultra-premium ingredients and handcraft every batch for customers who literally hunt our jars down in stores like Whole Foods and Erewhon. Our limited-edition flavors sell out online within hours.

As a Packaging Technician , you'll work alongside experienced machine operators on the line — confirming product consistency, checking fill and seal quality, applying tamper bands, inspecting labels, and hand-packing each case for shipment. You'll palletize finished product and move it by pallet jack into temperature-controlled storage.

It's fast, physical, hands-on work — and the quality of what leaves our floor depends on you.

What You'll Do

• Inspect yogurt jars for fill level, cap and seal integrity, tamper band, and label quality

• Hand-pack finished product into cases and stack pallets safely for shipment

• Move finished pallets using pallet jacks into temp-controlled storage areas

• Communicate with operators to flag any packaging or consistency issues

• Maintain accurate counts and organized staging zones

• Keep your area clean, safe, and production-ready throughout the shift

Who You Are

• Experienced in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments

• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift

• Dependable and consistent — you show up and stay focused

• Quality-focused with strong attention to detail

• Team-oriented and proactive in communication

• Familiar with GMP and food-safety standards (training provided)

Schedule

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Mid Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• Monday–Friday with optional weekend overtime
