    The role

    As a Packaging Technician, you will operate and maintain Vale's packaging equipment, ensuring that products are packaged to specification, on time, and at high quality.

    • Set up, operate, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production specifications
    • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging equipment
    • Conduct in-line quality inspections and remove non-conforming products
    • Complete packaging records, shift logs, and quality documentation accurately
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized packaging area
    • Communicate downtime, maintenance needs, or quality issues to the production supervisor
    • Support changeovers between product SKUs efficiently

    Qualifications

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • 1+ year of experience operating packaging or manufacturing equipment
    • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and technical instructions
    • Mechanical aptitude with an interest in equipment troubleshooting
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

    Compensation

    $20 – $24 per hour
