    UNIVERSITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST (ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE IN-TRAINING)

    WHAT DOES PACKBACK DO?

    Packback exists to awaken and fuel the fearless, relentless curiosity in every student.

    We are a social learning platform powered by a proprietary A.I. that college professors use to help their students fall in love with the subject matter, drive personalized learning, and most importantly, quantify and improve critical thinking skills.

    HOW WILL YOU ADD VALUE TO THE TEAM?

    You will be an account executive in training, titled as a University Outreach Specialist, that solely focuses on outbound prospecting and inside sales. Our University Outreach Specialists (UOSs) will assist in getting our Packback Question's platform into the hands of professors, which in-turn signs up entire classes on the Packback platform and expands our student reach. 

    TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Setting demonstrations of Packback Questions through phone and email outreach.
    • Touch points via dials & emails will range between 20 - 100 as the role progresses
    • Owning meeting confirmation, email and follow up
    • Reporting progress against daily, weekly, and quarterly goals
    • Strategic planning around growth track in an effort to grow and develop into a Strategy Consultant within a rapidly evolving start-up environment  
    • Collaborating and strategizing with the current Strategy Consultant team to set and advance deals
    • Consistent interaction with key decision-makers and professors at various universities
    • Maintaining Salesforce compliance  
    • Being a lifelong learner - be willing to provide and receive feedback from team members on a regular basis, in a shared effort of furthering our individual and collective sales processes

    THE INTENTION OF THIS ROLE:

    Our intention is for you to become an expert of the Packback purpose and product and build up professor relationships for our Revenue team as a whole. You will be a crucial part of Packback’s growth.

    Sales development is repetitive. You will spend your time importing lists, calling and emailing, and scheduling demos for our Strategy Consultants.

    Success will be tracked and monitored with the intention of ramping you up to the Account Executive/Strategy Consultant role after 1-2 campaigns (3 to 9 months).

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Proven Sales Ability - 1-4 years of experience, preferably with SaaS technology or in a sales/customer-facing role
    • Hyper-productive mentality
    • Leadership experience - the ability to take ownership, delegate tasks, goal-oriented focus, and mindset
    • Willingness to put in the extra work - through each campaign, there will be periods where it's necessary to work more than a 40-hour work-week
    • Love to seek out and provide feedback - we put a high emphasis on sharing knowledge and failing forward
    • Managing prospects - experience with prospecting, cold calling, tracking, and email outreach strategies
    • Strong Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication ability

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY:
