    Packback is an online discussion platform equipped with A.I. instructional support technology that acts as a "Digital TA" for faculty.  

    On Packback, students are taught the life skill of how to ask great questions and are coached on their critical thinking skills as they formulate responses to questions each week. Ultimately, when students are curious and engaged, we see an improvement to A's and B's, and a reduction of D's F's and W's. 

    Since launching in 2015, Packback has grown to be used by over 500,000 students across the US through over 3,500 faculty, doubling year over year due to strong faculty demand.  In 2020, Packback was featured in FORBES 30 UNDER 30, NAMED #352 IN THE INC 5,000 LIST, and listed in the top 5 fastest growing companies in Higher Education.

    THE ROLE: 

    The Spring 2022 Marketing intern will be central to the Marketing Team’s continued growth. You will be responsible for helping to support multiple aspects of marketing programs. You will get the opportunity to to get involved with marketing processes across the entire company, and gain a huge amount of experience in a dynamic, EdTech environment.

    The chosen candidate must be able to dedicate 20 hours per week to projects (half of that time would need to overlap with Packback’s working hours) and will receive $17 per hour. This position is entirely remote and will run from January to May. 

    IN MORE DETAIL, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

    • Quality assurance for all marketing materials, including emails and webpage content

    • Help brainstorm marketing campaigns to appeal to leads at all points of the funnel

    • Help write marketing content, including emails, ad copy, and web copy 

    • Help develop and execute traditional marketing work like creating marketing print-outs and mailing notes to professors

    • Help with any other marketing projects, including research projects and lead sourcing.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Understanding of the buyer journey and crafting a user experience

    • Strong writing skills -- ability to write effective, compelling copy that fits a brand’s voice

    • A data-driven and conversion-oriented mindset

    • Strong attention to detail is a must

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, must be able to balance multiple projects

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets 

    • Eagerness to learn new skills and tackle new projects
