Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of the Upstate specializes in contents restoration services following disasters such as fire, water damage, and mold. We professionally inventory, pack out, clean, store, and return personal property items to pre-loss condition. Our mission is to handle our customers’ belongings with care, precision, and compassion.

What You’ll Do:

As a Field Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, directly helping homeowners and businesses recover after property loss. Your daily tasks may include:

Performing pack-out and inventory of customer belongings using barcode and photo documentation

Assisting with cleaning and restoring items in our contents facility

Handling on-site delivery and unpacking, returning items to homes or businesses

Following standardized checklists and maintaining accurate documentation

Using software such as iCat, Jobbook, Matterport, and Xactimate to support workflow and job tracking

Working collaboratively with team members and communicating effectively with clients

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle personal property with care

Ability to lift, pack, and move items safely and efficiently (lift atleast 100 lbs)

Clear communication skills and professional demeanor

Dependable and punctual work ethic

Willingness to learn new systems and follow detailed procedures

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Previous experience in contents restoration, moving, or related fields is a plus—but not required

Ability to drive a box truck (No CDL required)
