General Job Duties:

Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.

**Qualifications:

**

• Must have STRONG ability to troubleshoot

• Ability to read prints, drawings, schematics

• Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives

• Strong knowledge of Prox/limit switches, laser sensors, pressure switches, vacuum switches

• Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

• Ability to understand and read relay logic

• Ability to plan, layout, and execute electrical projects with minimal supervision

• Familiarity of robotics (Yaskowa Motoman)

• Ability to fabricate is a plus

• Ability to plan and install conduit runs as needed

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
