Paid Part-Time Internship Program: Coworking Management
We are excited to announce our new paid internship program at Filmmakers Ranch.
This is not a token internship. It is not a vague “come hang around and see what happens” situation. And it is definitely not unpaid.
This is a paid, part-time internship for people who want to be part of building one of the most exciting creative spaces in Oklahoma from the inside out. That means real shifts, real responsibilities, real expectations, and real opportunities to make your mark.
At Filmmakers Ranch, interns help shape the atmosphere of our front reception and café — the front door to the Ranch and the social heartbeat of the campus — while also going deep in one specialist area of the business that fits their interests and field of study.
The idea is simple: you will work, you will learn, you will contribute, and you will leave having actually helped build something.
We split interns into one of seven specialist pods, each designed around a different part of the Filmmakers Ranch ecosystem. Some interns may be drawn to events. Some to film programming. Some to business development. Some to the land itself. But wherever you are placed, the goal is the same: to combine practical responsibility with meaningful creative experience inside a place that feels ambitious, welcoming, stylish, and alive.
This application is for Pod 5: Coworking Management.
**
Help shape Filmmakers Ranch Membership into a true creative clubhouse experience — not just a place to work, but a place people genuinely want to belong to.
This pod exists to help build the day-to-day experience of coworking at the Ranch so it feels warm, polished, useful, and full of character. The goal is not simply to keep the space functioning. The goal is to make it feel like somewhere creative people can settle into, return to, and quietly feel proud to be part of.
Think less “desk rental,” more:
a beautifully run creative home base where members feel looked after, new visitors instantly understand the vibe, and every detail — from the welcome to the workspace to the small rituals of the day — makes the experience feel intentional.
This pod helps build that feeling.
You might help onboard new members, keep spaces guest-ready, improve how coworking flows day to day, support bookings and member communication, notice what people need before they ask, or help refine the details that turn a flexible workspace into a real community hub. You might help shape systems, experiences, and standards that make the Ranch feel less transactional and more like a place people become attached to.
Done well, this pod does more than manage desks.
It builds membership. It builds belonging. It builds loyalty.
This is a part-time paid internship with scheduled shifts. We expect 4 shifts per week between 4 & 6 hours and shifts are available 7-days per week between 7.30am-9.30pm.
Interns will typically split their time between:
Front-of-house / café shifts
Helping shape the feel of the Ranch day to day by supporting reception, café flow, guest experience, and the overall warmth and energy of the space.
Working inside Coworking Management to help support, organize, improve, and elevate the member experience across the Ranch.
This means the role combines hospitality, operations, community-building, coordination, and execution. You are not just observing. You are helping make the machine run.
Helping welcome and onboard new coworking members
Supporting tours, inquiries, bookings, and follow-up communication
Helping maintain a polished, functional, and inviting coworking environment
Assisting with desk readiness, room resets, supplies, signage, and shared-space standards
Helping support member experience day to day, including small details that improve comfort and ease
Coordinating with front-of-house and café operations so the coworking experience feels seamless
Helping track member needs, patterns, feedback, and opportunities for improvement
Assisting with member perks, events, communications, or programming that increase connection and retention
Contributing ideas that make the coworking experience feel more distinctive, thoughtful, and worth staying part of
This is for someone who loves spaces, people, hospitality, and the idea of making everyday experiences feel better.
You may be interested in hospitality, operations, community management, events, business, design, customer experience, or creative entrepreneurship. You might simply have a strong instinct for what makes a place feel cared for, calm, and welcoming — and enjoy being the person who helps create that.
You do not need to know everything. But you do need to bring energy, initiative, curiosity, follow-through, and the willingness to be useful.
Because this is a paid internship, we are looking for people who are excited not just by the idea of coworking, but by the work of making it excellent. That means showing up on time, handling responsibility well, working assigned shifts, and taking pride in helping create an experience that feels polished, friendly, and genuinely worth belonging to.
Filmmakers Ranch is not trying to build a generic coworking space with Wi-Fi and coffee.
We are building a creative clubhouse.
A place where members feel known.
Where the workspace has warmth and personality.
Where someone can come to answer emails and end up meeting a collaborator.
Where the atmosphere supports not just productivity, but connection, momentum, and creative life.
Where the experience feels thoughtful enough that people want to keep coming back.
This internship is a chance to help shape that experience from the inside.
It is for people who want more than a line on a résumé. It is for people who want responsibility, taste, real-world experience, operational instincts, relationships, and the satisfaction of helping build a place people genuinely value.
You will not be stuck at the edges. You will be in it.
