JOB OVERVIEW
The Farm Credit Council is seeking a motivated and dynamic spring intern to join our Washington D.C.-based regulatory team. This intern will gain hands-on experience in federal regulatory and government affairs and economic analysis within the finance and agriculture industry.
Successful applicants will have a proactive attitude, collaborative mindset and a background or strong interest in economic research and government affairs.
This is a paid internship at $20/hour, with an expectation of working approximately 30-40 hours per week from January to March. The Farm Credit Council operates on a hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday through Thursday, however, we are open to adjusting hours and in office days to accommodate academic commitments such as school or class schedules. Candidates must be based in the Washington D.C. area for the length of the internship and available to work in person on pre-determined in-office days.
Any student or recent graduate of a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) or student active in their MANRRS University chapter selected to intern would receive an additional $3,500 stipend as part of Farm Credit’s Launching Leaders program.
